This project focused on designing a clear, cohesive wayfinding system for NYIT — tackling one of the most underappreciated challenges in campus design: helping people actually find where they're going without getting lost or frustrated.
The main goal was to enhance spatial navigation while strengthening the visual identity of the campus environment through a consistent signage system. Good wayfinding is invisible when it works — you just know where to go.
The process involved thorough research and observation on campus, followed by concept development, typeface and color selection, and the creation of vector sketches for multiple sign types — directional, informational, and identification signs.
