Waterfall is an interactive installation that combines motion tracking and generative visuals to create a living, responsive environment. As participants move through the space, particles blossom and flow — transforming their presence into ripples of water infused with Persian-inspired aesthetics.
The piece sits at the intersection of technology and cultural storytelling. The visual language draws from Persian art and water motifs, while the underlying system is entirely real-time — every movement in the room produces a unique, unrepeatable visual moment.
I conceptualized and developed the full installation — building the particle system and interaction logic in TouchDesigner, integrating Kinect motion tracking to detect participants' presence and trigger real-time visual changes. The result is a space where the boundary between viewer and artwork disappears entirely.
